St. Vincent de Paul Society is looking for volunteers to assist our brother and sisters in need.
Volunteers are needed for the Store, Warehouse, Building
Maintenance, Dining Room, Central Office and Special Projects.

Volunteers Needed for SVDP:
Store:
Monday-Friday 9AM to 4:30PM / Saturday 9AM to 3:30PM
Hanging of clothing, keeping displays stocked and in order; Assist customers in finding merchandise; Keeping store clean and neat.
Warehouse:
Monday-Friday 9AM to 4PM
Assist in sort process of both clothing
and misc. items as to usability; Test and make minor repairs of small appliances, lamps, etc. so they can be used; Assist donors making donation on-site; Assist in bale operation; Unload bags of clothing from trucks.
Building Maintenance:
Painting interior & exterior spaces; General handyman
projects ranging from plumbing to carpentry; Lawn/weed control.
Dining Room:
Monday,Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday 9AM to 1PM
Assist in meal preparation, serving guests and clean-up; Stocking shelves and rotation of donated food items; Assist in cleaning details above and
beyond everyday cleaning routine.
Central Office:
Monday-Friday 9AM to 4PM
Answering phones and directing calls to appropriate departments; Scheduling requests for donation pick-up; Preparing mailings; Typing and data entry.
Special Projects:
Phone calls for fundraising follow-up; Literacy volunteers to help
teach reading; Teaching parenting skills; Abused women friendship counsel.
