Located in Angola, New York, the St. Vincent de Paul summer camp gives all youngsters, ages 8 - 13, the opportunity to interact with other children in a pleasant stress-free environment.
Children attending the camp come mostly from urban environments and are given the chance to learn about nature, experience the beauty of a warm summer sunset, the freedom of swimming in one of the Great Lakes and the excitement of making new friends.
In over 60 years of existence, the St. Vincent de Paul summer camp has been able to welcome more than 50,000 children to its 15 acres of God’s country.
Fortunately, the St. Vincent de Paul Society has been able to support the cost of maintaining the camp plus lodging, food, and transportation for the children. It is only with the support of Society members and concerned Society benefactors that these costs will continue to be met.
