St. Vincent de Paul Society Clothing Collection Bin Program
The Society of St. Vincent DePaul has begun to place bins for the collection of clothing donations at various parishes throughout the Diocese. These bins will allow those who wish to donate good, usable clothing to the Society the ability to do so without having to schedule a truck pick up at their home. The Society also benefits by having a continuous supply of clothing for use in its good works. This was a proactive decision by the organization in the face of the ever rising cost of gasoline needed by the collection vehicles. These centralized sites will allow for more efficient use of the hard pressed resources of the Society in its mission of charity.
